Here's a sneak peek at David Finch's upcoming artwork for DC's Rebirth Batman title and a continuation of the new "I Am Bane" storyline from Tom King that began in last week's Batman #16. In this latest installment, the venom-guzzling Bane is out for Batman's blood and Bruce Wayne strives to protect his loved ones for five long days within the walls of Arkham Asylum.

Here's the solicitation synopsis for Batman #17, coming to comic shops on Feb. 15:

"I Am Bane" Part 2! Barricading himself within the walls of Arkham Asylum still might not keep Batman and his allies safe from Bane’s assault. Which one of Bruce's loved ones will be torn from him next?

King shared this finely-detailed pencil work by Finch to draw attention to the superb quality of the art and show what we can look forward to in an upcoming issue. There's no telling if this is a splash page for future Bane-centric books, part of some never-used interior art or a variant cover, but it does hint at the anticipated appearances of Hush, Riddler, The Penguin, Scarecrow, Two-Face and many more of the Dark Knight's famous foes.

Have a look and tell us which villain you'd like to see most in the "I Am Bane" story arc.
