Flash deleted scene reveals hilarious reason Barry and Iris cut their honeymoon short

Last night’s episode of The Flash saw the West-Allens — that’d be newlyweds Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) — apparently back from their brief honeymoon in pre-volcano Bali following their wedding in last week’s “Crisis on Earth-X” Arrowverse crossover.

The CW has released a hilarious deleted scene from “Don’t Run,” which sees Barry and Iris’ honeymoon being cut short when Team Flash’s newest member Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer) finds himself alone in STAR Labs where he prepares himself for some quality time with Netflix, a six-pack and a big ol' bag of BBQ potato chips. The only problem is the Netflix button apparently looks a lot like STAR Labs’ emergency 11 alert. Oops.

Considering the episode itself was cram-packed with story, it's no surprise this opening landed on the cutting room floor. It's fun, but not entirely necessary. But, it's still a clever set-up that answers the question of why Barry and Iris are kicking around STAR Labs this week, instead of taking in the beautiful beaches of Bali. Iris already had to share her wedding, and now her honeymoon gets axed mid-stream, too. But hey, no one ever said it was easy being a superhero.

The Flash is on hiatus until early 2018, but check out the deleted scene below and let us know what you think:
