We already know the third season of The CW’s Flash will be tackling its own version of Flashpoint once the third season begins, but in case you were worried it’d be short on actual villains, put those fears to rest.
Comic Book Resources reports the series has added Grey Damon (Friday Night Lights, Aquarius) as the small-screen version of Mirror Master, the classic Flash villain first introduced in 1959. The character was a major rogue in The Flash’s comic canon, and if anything, it’s amazing it took this long for the producers to actually tackle him. This version will interpret the original Mirror Master, Sam Scudder, who first grappled with Barry Allen way back in The Flash #105.
Here’s the network’s official description for the character:
One of the Flash's most infamous Rogues, Sam Scudder -- aka Mirror Master -- is a smooth criminal with a huge ego. Upon discovering he now has the power to travel through any reflective surface, Scudder embarks on a massive crime spree to prove himself the greatest thief that Central City has ever seen.
The Flash returns Tuesday, Oct. 4, for its third season on The CW.
