BBC America has released a first teaser trailer for the upcoming fourth season of its hit sci-fi series Orphan Black.
And it’s quite an eyeful. Literally. Because what we see is Rachel's new bionic eye.
If you're as much a fan of the show as I am, then you must have missed our beloved Clone Club. Back for Season 4 are Tatiana Maslany in the role of multiple clone seestras Sarah, Cosima, Alison, Helena and their big bad sister Rachel (even Beth Childs! See the synopsis below), Jordan Gavaris as Felix, Maria Doyle Kennedy as Mrs. S, Kristian Bruun as Donnie, Kevin Hanchard as Art and Skyler Wexler as Kira. It's good to see the Clone Club and the rest of the gang back.
Also returning this season? Ari Millen (yay!) in the role of a new and mysterious Castor clone “the likes of which we’ve never seen before.” Back for an encore are Josh Vokey as Scott, James Frain as Ferdinand, Allison Steadman as Kendall Malone, and Rosemary Dunsmore as Rachel’s adoptive mom Susan Duncan. A new addition to the Orphan Black family this year is Joel Thomas Hynes in the role of Dizzy, who is “an edgy, self-reliant hacker who doesn’t conform to group mentality.” Check it out:
Here's a synopsis:
Sarah, reluctantly return home from her Icelandic hideout to track down an elusive and mysterious ally tied to the clone who started it all — Beth Childs. Sarah will follow Beth’s footsteps into a dangerous relationship with a potent new enemy, heading in a horrifying new direction. Under constant pressure to protect the sisterhood and keep everyone safe, Sarah’s old habits begin to resurface. As the close-knit sisters are pulled in disparate directions, Sarah finds herself estranged from the loving relationships that changed her for the better.
Orphan Black returns on BBC America in April 2016. Are you looking forward to more clone shenanigans?
