Ghostbusters goes Karate Kid! Check out Loot Crate's fun exclusives for NYCC 2017

Loot Crate is the subscription service that delivers themed geek boxes right to your front door. The boxes often contain exclusives that you can’t get anywhere else, and while each box’s theme is revealed in advance, the specific contents are usually a surprise. Loot Crate’s November box has a theme of Stranger Things.

With New York Comic Con just around the corner, you can bet that Loot Crate has some big things planned. It will have the following products available exclusively at New York Comic Con this week. Stop by its booth, #536, to pick these up and learn more.

Stranger Things SuperEmoScenes NYCC Exclusive Diorama: Based on art by J. Salvador, the item will be available in limited quantities, with numbered packaging, for $30. It’s an exclusive Upside Down variant that shows the season one finale scene between Eleven and the Demogorgon.

Ghostbusters Karate Puft Exclusive NYCC Variant: Check out the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man after the 1984 Ghostbusters film in training for another fight — a la Karate Kid. It will also be available in limited quantities, with numbered packaging, for $30.

Frankenstein Exclusive NYCC Pin: Finally, Gabriel Silvera has designed this nifty item, which is an enamel pin based on the monster movie.

Loot Crate will also have in-booth signings and meet-and-greets over the course of NYCC. On Thursday, Oct. 5, you can meet Nerf Herder (who composed and performed the Buffy the Vampire Slayer theme), Jonathan Coulton (Portal theme), and the Paul & Storm, the famous musical comedy duo.

Aaron Mahnke, creator of the Lore podcast, will be available Friday, while J. Salvador, who is the artist behind the Stranger Things diorama, will be available Saturday. Finally, Doug Jones from The Shape of Water and Star Trek: Discovery will be in the booth on Sunday.
