Some pictures have surfaced from the shoot of Terminator: Genesis showing the stars with some different looks than we're used to seeing on them.
The Daily Mail got hold of this set of pics, which give us a glimpse of the film's four main stars -- Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke and Jai Courtney. What leaps out almost immediately from the images is that Schwarzenegger is sporting gray hair, while Emilia -- who is seen in blond tresses as dragon lady Daenerys in Game of Thrones -- has reverted back to brunette for her role in this movie as Sarah Connor.
The gray hair on the former Governator's skull lines up with comments that Schwarzenegger made recently in which he said that the T-800 is going to look older to reflect the reality of the actor himself being 66 years old (although there will be a younger Terminator in the film as well). He explained, "The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath. It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages."
Jason Clarke, who will be seen in July in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, plays Sarah's son, John Connor, while Courtney (Divergent) appears as Sarah's protector and lover, Kyle Reese.
I have no idea what is going on these photos, except that Arnold's T-800 is wearing jeans and a khaki jacket -- no leather for him, at least not in this shot -- and both Reese and Sarah are wearing what look like scrubs. And Sarah is pointing a gun at her own son, who's an adult ... which means that some sort of time travel might be going on here.
Terminator: Genesis opens on July 1, 2015. What do you make of the T-800 with gray hair and khakis? Is this the "old guy who lives next door" disguise?
