Greg Berlanti may be the hardest-working man in television. He has his fingers in all of The CW's superhero shows, as well as Riverdale and the upcoming Sabrina the Teenage Witch show. And that's just on The CW.
Now Berlanti is working on two new shows for The CW. One of them is an untitled high school football drama (boring!), and the other is a "reincarnation love epic" (less boring!).
According to Deadline, Hold Fast follows an injured Union soldier in Reconstruction-era South who wakes in present-day Charleston. "With rapidly diminishing knowledge of his past life, our hero must navigate present-day relationships — including a fiancée he doesn’t remember — while uncovering what happened to his past love and searching for her."
Hold Fast is being written and executive-produced by Dana Stevens, who previously created TV shows What About Brian and Reckless.
What do you think of Hold Fast's premise, are you intrigued?
