I mustache you if you've heard about a Super unique, almost Impossible Hollywood situation?
Yes, Henry Cavill's facial hair has been all the rage in the Hollywood trades this week. You see, between the wrap of principal photography of Justice League and the pickups or reshoots, Cavill started principal photography on Mission Impossible 6. And for that movie, he sports a mean mustache.
In his contract with Paramount, according to reports, Cavill can't shave said mustache during principal photography. That means the actor is hopping between sets, and when he's over at Justice League in his Superman costume, yup, he's got a duster over his lip. The reported result is that Warner Bros. will have to digitally remove it (something some fans have begun rallying against).
Well, Cavill himself has finally broken his silence about the hairy situation, as he realized he had to face the problem.
The actor went very tongue-in-cheek in his post, saying he had to "finally set the record straight." The set from MI6 shown, he joked, is "the latest in a series of weapons being designed by Warner Bros and Paramount Studios to combat the entity known as 'Henry Cavill's Moustache.'" Amazing inter-studio cooperation there!
We wish Henry Cavill luck in his quest to be "victorious against such a beast without bringing our own doom raining down upon us." Maybe he should just get a mirror and some heat vision.
