Someone cue up John Williams' famous score. Earlier this month, production began on the latest installment of the Jurassic Park franchise. The film features Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Bryce Dallas Howard (Terminator: Salvation) as its two new leads. Over at EW, they posted exclusive set photos from the shoot, which show the beautiful landscape as well as some dino damage.
The cast and crew are currently stationed in Hawaii for Jurassic World, which for the most part we know nothing about. But director Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) did tease some upcoming action. “Yesterday I was under a construction crane with Chris Pratt, covered with dirt, eyeballing the exact height of the dinosaur trying to kill him,” he says. “We both cracked up laughing. Sometimes you just have to stop and let the joy take over.”
It sounds like the film will tap into the wonder and danger that were established in the original.
Jurassic World opens in theaters June 12, 2015.
