The Avengers will finally be assembling next Friday (May 4, and we just can't wait), but Stan "The Man" Lee's one step ahead and is already discussing which Marvel superheroes he wants to see tackle the big screen next.
Speaking to I Am Rogue, the godfather of comics shared his thoughts on which of his many characters he'd love to see added to the Earth's Mightiest Heroes' team in the inevitable sequel:
So which character does Lee think should get his own movie next?
"Those two and probably Ant-Man, which I think they are working on. Maybe I'll play a little role in that."
Lee also spoke about The Amazing Spider-Man, the 20th Century Fox reboot that'll spin its web in theaters on July 3:
"I think it will be great. Andrew Garfield is SO good. Even though he doesn't look like Tobey [Maguire], he is perfect for Spider-Man/Peter Parker. The movie is a good movie, and wait till you see my cameo. It's very funny.''
"I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to reboot The FF, and Daredevil, those two. Because Daredevil didn't do as well as I hoped it would. Yet I love the character, so I would love to see him rebooted."
So there you have it. What do you think of Stan Lee's thoughts? Are you keen to see the Black Panther and Dr. Strange have their own movies and join the Avengers as well as Ant-Man? What other Marvel characters you think should get their chance at wowing us on the big screen next?
