Ever since it was announced Spider-Man would finally join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War -- thanks to that historic inter-studio deal between Marvel and Sony -- fans have been a) freaking out with excitement, and b) wondering how much screen time the webhead would get in the superhero movie.
After all, we knew Civil War was already gonna be chock-full of Earth's Mighiest Heroes, and fans were a bit wary as to how Marvel would shoehorn in the beloved Marvel Comics character.
While early rumors pointed at Spider-Man’s presence in the movie as being little more than a cameo, now we finally know that’s not the case. In fact, Peter Parker/Spidey’s role is actually bigger than we thought.
Just how big, exactly?
ScreenCrush’s Mike Samson was able to answer that question, and it seems that Spider-Man gets roughly 30 minutes of screen time in Civil War. Yep! You read that right. Half an hour of Spidey goodness with Tom Holland playing both Peter Parker and his web-crawling alter ego on screen.
There you have it.
After getting a small taste of Holland’s Amazing Spider-Man in the second Civil War trailer, I can't wait to see what he can do (especially in the wake of those early reviews praising the young actor's performance and how Spidey is great in the movie).
How about you? Are you excited to see the new Spider-Man getting some love in Captain America: Civil War come May 6?
