After months of leaked set pics and weird character posters, we finally have our first real look at The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
The first official trailer is set to debut Sunday, April 14, during the MTV Movie Awards, but the network has been kind enough to drop a teaser that shows off the first actual footage from the eagerly anticipated sequel.
We get a peek at Katniss’ (Jennifer Lawrence) intro as the reigning champ, and our first glimpse at the visual style we can expect from new director Francis Lawrence. How does it look? Classy, which is a good thing.
After The Hunger Games blew up the box office, Catching Fire should be one of the most anticipated flicks of 2013. It captures the perfect zeitgeist of sci-fi, dystopia and pretty young people. If the sequel is half as fun as the first film, it should do fine.
