Image of the day: Anna Paquin gets totally naked with hubby Stephen Moyer in new NSFW True Blood cover

This week's new Entertainment Weekly magazine cover features a fully naked Sookie Stackhouse -- in a coffin -- in the arms of a clothed vampire Bill played by real-life couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer.

We don’t know about you guys, but even though we think that cover is certainly kinda hot, having Paquin totally naked and Moyer fully clothed strikes us as a little bit … sexist? Seriously, why not have Moyer as nude as Paquin on the cover? They've done it before for that famous Rolling Stones magazine cover.

Oh, well. Looks like the double standard may have been applied for this photoshoot, which is a real shame, because the hit HBO series has always portrayed equal-opportunity nudity. At least it looks like neither Moyer nor Paquin is fazed by all the skin in True Blood.

While directing a love scene between Sookie and Alcide (Joe Manganiello) in an upcoming episode, Moyer said:

There are moments where I’ll be watching on a monitor [and say], “Oh, Joe, just move your hand up towards Anna’s breast. Good. And can you move your right thumb just a little bit towards her nipple? Great.” And then I’ll go, “Babe, babe, enjoy it.” I’m certainly talking to her as “babe.” “Darling, go for it. Yeah, feel the nipple.”

So, there ya go! Who needs a cold shower?

Annnnd one more for the road, with some of the obscuring text removed. WARNING: This one is definitely NSFW:
