Image of the day: Buzz Aldrin sends a message to the cosmos at Stonehenge

As one of the few humans to actually walk on the moon, Buzz Aldrin is already much cooler than any of us could ever hope to be. He also takes cooler photos than the rest of us, too, apparently.

Aldrin, 85, was recently visiting Stonehenge, and decided it’d be the perfect time to send a little message to the stars (and the rest of humanity). Be sure to read the T-shirt (also, I want one of those T-shirts).

The former astronaut has been a strong proponent for getting NASA back on track with a manned mission to Mars, and recently presented his recommendation for a manned mission and permanent Martian base to the U.S. Senate's Subcommittee on Space, Science and Competitiveness. When not urging NASA to reach for the stars, he spends his downtime visiting Stonehenge and taking super-cool pics.
