The CW is looking to shake things up with the second season of Legends of Tomorrow, and now we have our first look at a new (old?) addition to the roster.
The network has revealed the first shot of Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Vixen, where she will be playing the grandmother of the present-day Vixen, Mari McCabe (Megalyn E.K.). The producers reportedly wanted to bring Megalyn E.K. in for the new season, but when she was too busy, they cast Richardson-Sellers as a prior version of Vixen (gotta love that time travel!) who will cross paths with our heroes.
The new season will find the Legends scattered through time, until they eventually meet up with the Justice Society of America in the 1940s. There they meet Richardson-Sellers’ version of Vixen, who joins the ragtag group of heroes for their next mission: to continue protecting the timeline from temporal aberrations and take on a mysterious new threat
The new season of Legends of Tomorrow premieres Oct. 13 on The CW.
