Filming has begun on the Jumanji reboot in Honolulu, and co-star Kevin Hart has taken to Instagram to share the first official pic of the cast in character.
Directed by Jake Kasdan from a script by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner — based on a draft penned by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers — the new Jumanji also stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (as "the smoldering" Dr. Bravestone), Jack Black, Nick Jonas and Doctor Who alum Karen Gillan as Martha.
Instead of a straight remake of the 1995 movie that starred Robin Williams and Kirsten Dunst, the new Jumanji will be more of a reimagining of the award-winning writer Chris Van Allsburg's 1981 novel that will also act as a sort of sequel.

Jumanji is slated to open in theaters on July 28, 2017.
