Iron Man isn't supposed to make much of a splash in July's Spider-Man Homecoming movie, but he'll be showcasing a sleek new suit of scalloped armor in his limited screen time as Peter Parker's mentor. Patterned after his upgraded, argent-accented suit seen in Millar and Hitch's The Ultimates comic-book run from 2002, Iron Man's helmet remains similar to his last film appearance in Captain America: Civil War, but the rest of the metallic costume is altered and refined in many eye-pleasing ways.
Though we only catch a gleaming silver blur of this Mark XLVII suit in the Spider-Man Homecoming trailers and teasers, Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles is now letting you stare at it from all angles in these newly released images of their deluxe Iron Man Movie Promo Edition action figure.
