Netflix has released a second (and super cool) promo teaser for Marvel's upcoming superhero/private eye series Jessica Jones.
This new promo arrives hot on the heels of the series’ first teaser, which saw Jessica Jones DESTROY her alarm clock with her awesome super strength.
Titled “Nightcap,” the latest video catches up with the superhero detective -- post-bar-fight -- as she casually steps over downed bar patrons, all looking the worse for wear for having been beaten to a pulp, before stopping at the bar, where she downs a shot with Joan Jett’s “Bad Reputation” playing in the background.
After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City. It's time the world knew her name...
I love how the promo highlights Jessica Jones' (Krysten Ritter) super strength again, and how she seems to have no problems whatsoever making mincemeat out of people. So far, Marvel and Netflix are doing a bang-up job at making me interested in the series. Still, I hope they'll release a proper trailer with footage from the series soon. Make it so, Netflix! Crossing my toes and fingers here.
Jessica Jones also stars David Tennant as the villainous Jebediah Kilgrave, aka Purple Man, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty and Wil Traval.
All 13 one-hour episodes of the upcoming superhero series will stream in their entirety on Nov. 20 at 12:01 a.m. PT on Netflix. After the epic gloriousness that was Daredevil, are you looking forward to Jessica Jones?
