As we claw ever closer to the fabled Doctor Who 50th anniversary, more and more secrets are slowly being revealed -- some on purpose, some by accident.
So the question is, which category does this latest news fall under? Sean Pertwee, son of deceased Third Doctor Jon Pertwee tweeted an image before removing it shortly thereafter. The image? Well, let's take a look, shall we?
Well, well, well, what have we here? It looks to be some manner of call sheet involving four former Doctors playing themselves that includes a scene in which Sylvester McCoy is rehearsing a call he wants to make to "Steven." Can't imagine who that could be!
If we had to hazard a guess, this is probably related to that faux protesting we caught a glimpse of recently. But what is it for? Will it be part of the 50th celebrations proper, or is this the Doctor Who short that will appear during Children in Need? And what of Tom Baker?
We're not sure if this here-and-gone tweeting was the result of revealing news too soon, or an intentional act from Moffat and the BBC to entice fans even more. Either way, we are ready to see the classic Doctors return in just about any form.
