Fantastic Four director Josh Trank and writer/producer Simon Kinberg took over the official Fantastic Four Twitter account over the weekend to release four featurettes centered on the actors who make up Marvel’s First Family. In those short videos, Trank and Kinberg explain why they chose Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell for the lead roles of Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm/the Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/the Human Torch and Ben Grimm/the Thing. Let’s start with the first one, featuring Miles Teller (who turned in a fantastic -- pun actually intended -- performance in Whiplash), who had auditioned for a role in Trank’s Chronicle:

In the second video featurette, Josh Trank and Simon Kinberg talk Kate Mara’s (House of Cards) audition as Sue Storm and her chemistry with Michel B. Jordan, who plays her brother:

The third featurette centers around actor Jamie Bell (Turn: Washington’s Spies), who’ll get to play Ben Grimm, aka the Thing, in the upcoming superhero movie:

Trank and Kinberg finally talk about Michael B. Jordan -- who worked with Trank on Chronicle -- as Johnny Storm in the fourth and final featurette, and how the actor actually epitomizes the character both on and off camera. Guys, I don't know about you, but I want to hang out with this guy. Flame on!
