Today is World UFO Day.
This is a holiday started by the, get this, World UFO Day Organization. The lesson here (as per usual) is that if you're thinking of starting something, get organized. That's step one.
The intent is to watch the skies for unidentified flying objects. They make a big deal out of why it's on July 2 and not June 24, because Roswell. Speaking of Roswell:
GET IN THERE! It's been too long since you've watched Roswell.
Wanna see some cool clips of UFOs? (And we're going to miss some obvious ones, so please do comment below.)
Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977):
Flight of the Navigator (1986):
Independence Day: Resurgence (2016):
The Greatest American Hero:
The Cat From Outer Space (1978):
Either way, the whole point of today is to sing some UFO carols and lend your support to getting the truth out there about UFOs. Wherever you fall on the divide, sounds like a legit cause, no? For more, visit the World UFO Day site.
Tomorrow: Linda Hamilton and Lea Thompson.
