Former Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff says she is definitely not in the running for Star Wars: Episode VII — though she is apparently up to something "big."
Just about every working actor and actress on the planet has been rumored for a role in J.J. Abrams’ eagerly anticipated Star Wars sequel, and Sackhoff’s name constantly popped up in the headlines. That's over, judging by a recent post on Twitter, as it sounds like she is officially not on the list (at least not anymore).
But don’t let that get you down —because apparently the Riddick co-star is working on something “big” that she can’t tell us about just yet. Hmm. Sure, it sucks she won’t pop up in a galaxy far, far away, but there are far cooler sci-fi jobs she could be doing.
Chief among them (and a popular topic in the rumor mill)? Ms. Marvel and Wonder Woman, which both promise to be high-profile woman superhero roles in the coming decade as both Marvel and DC dig deeper into their respective catalogs. Sackhoff has proven she can kick mountains of ass, and she could hold her own swimmingly as either of those characters.
Big things happening people...I wish I could tell ya about them but that would ruin the fun surprises. Xoxo No not #StarWars stop asking! ;)— Katee Sackhoff (@kateesackhoff) December 3, 2013
What do you think? What secret project is Sackhoff working on?
