Kickstarter project will fulfill your dream of web-slinging like Spider-Man

There's no need to envy Peter Parker and Miles Morales anymore, because a fellow by the name of Trajan Dimsey on Kickstarter has developed a system that mimics the web-slinging of Spider-Man via a system of grappling hooks. The best part? He's turned it into a public attraction and will be visiting a whole slew of countries so that other people can try it out.

The experience centers around an obstacle course of sorts where you'll shoot the hooks at a number of targets and be able to swing between them, just like Marvel's famous wall crawler. Take a look for yourself.

For those with weaker upper body strength (and to ensure your arms aren't ripped out of your sockets), Dimsey created "a special body harness that takes all the weight off your arms and shoulders, so you don't need to worry about having enough strength to do this."

Before you get to the swinging, he'll also let you shoot at some moving targets to improve your accuracy before you go full Spidey.

The countries being visited are: the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Sweden, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore. These were chosen because they are the Top 10 nations that use Kickstarter and were therefore able to fund the project. He promised that if South Korea were suddenly to donate a sizable amount to the campaign, Seoul would be added to the list.

Right now, only $2,140 has been pledged of the $347,326 goal, so if you've always dreamed of slinging some webs, it's time to put your money where your mask is.
