Han and Chewie have been a team as long as Star Wars fans can remember, but Solo: A Star Wars Story is our first look at how that iconic friendship and partnership came to be.
While we still don't know how they meet, this new clip explains how Chewbacca became the co-pilot of the Millennium Falcon. Once you see it, it makes perfect sense, considering that Chewie has always been one of the most awesome characters in the Star Wars universe. (Therm Scissorpunch is shaping up to be another one, but we'll save that for a bit later.)
The clip also gives us another glimpse of the more comedic tone of the film. It's not "ha ha" funny. It's Han Solo funny. A little snark, a lot of bravado, and somehow it all comes out right in the end.
Speaking of Therm Scissorpunch, you can see him in all his glory in this 360-degree experience from ILM as he spectates what may be the most influential card game in Star Wars history. Sure, you may want to pan to Han and Lando as they face off in that fated game of Sabacc, but Therm Scissorpunch is the best thing in this whole clip. Well, and Lando.
Solo: A Star Wars Story flies into theaters on May 25. Tickets are on sale now.
