Actress Laura Dern dropped by Ellen Degeneres' show to have a chat about life and Star Wars movies, and ended up sharing the best look we have yet at Dern's character Amilyn Holdo in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

We don't know much about Holdo when it comes to the film itself, but the character was featured in Claudia Gray's novel Leia: Princess of Alderaan and is a long time friend of Leia's. The question, of course, is whether she's still a friend or whether Holdo has some other agenda in the new film.

In the film, Amilyn Holdo is a Vice Admiral in The Resistance. But things can always change, as we've learned. Is Holdo a rival? Will she be the one to carry on Leia's legacy now that Carrie Fisher is no longer with us? The questions just keep coming.

Also of note in this picture, if you're looking for cosplay options or you want to get a better look at some of the background characters, you could certainly do worse. There's a variety of uniforms and personnel to choose from. Not to mention, a better look at a new BB unit who goes by the designation 2BB-2.

The best part of this entire interview is Dern's confession of a certain sound she made. Let's hope that makes the gag reel.
