In Star Trek, Spock wanted his friends and associates to "live long and prosper." So does actor Leonard Nimoy: He recently put pen to T-shirt and drew his famed Vulcan salute ... and sold the limited-edition shirts on Etsy.
Unsurprisingly, the T-shirts—which Nimoy drew around his own hand and signed with the abbreviated "LLAP"—have sold out since we first checked (Nimoy posted the announcement on his Twitter page, where his 200,000 fans retweeted the news). But you can find more Nimoy-produced items on his Etsy page, SecretSelves.
He has his own Etsy shop. How cool is that?
Nimoy isn't usually an inker. However, the 80-year-old has been a photographer for more than 60 years. His work has been displayed in museums across the country, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the L.A. County Museum of Art, the Jewish Museum of New York, the New Orleans Museum of Fine Art and the Hammer Museum.
Nimoy's last convention appearance will be at Chicago CreationCon on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
