Season 2 of Luke Cage is headed to Netflix later this month, and if the anticipation of the latest trailer wasn't high enough, showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker just released the titles for every episode of the season.

The first season of Marvel's Luke Cage featured episode titles that also happened to be track titles from hip-hop duo Gang Starr. And now it looks like Season 2 will continue the tradition. Coker recently tweeted the list of the 13 episode titles of Season 2, which any Pete Rock & CL Smooth fan will obviously recognize.

That's right, every single episode of Luke Cage Season 2 shares a name with a song by hip-hop duo Pete Rock & CL Smooth. So if you haven't listened to them yet, now is the perfect opportunity.

Earlier this month, Coker noted, “Pete [Rock] is a huge Luke Cage fan. He’s a comic book collector,” Coker said. “He put out a mixtape that used snippets of the show, so it was a way of saying, ‘You love us, we love you too.’”

Music has always been an important part of Luke Cage, and in the upcoming season fans can expect music from artists like Ghostface Killah, Gary Clark Jr., Esperanza Spalding, and Jadakiss — to name a few. Plus some cameos from the artists as well much like Faith Evans and Method Man in Season 1.

Are these titles hints for what's to come? Or just used as inspiration for each episode? Or maybe Coker just wanted to raise awareness of this musical group he knows loves the show.
