Though we haven't really seen him in action yet, today we finally get a glimpse at the Kryptonian wardrobe of Man of Steel's Zod, courtesy of a sneak peek at some new toys.
This week Mattel France rolled out some of the toys it plans to unleash on the public in 2013, including action figures and vehicles that will tie in to Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan's Superman relaunch. We already know what Superman himself looks like thanks to a number of promotional materials, but Michael Shannon's Zod has remained largely shrouded in mystery. We got a glimpse of his face in a trailer last month, and some blurry set photos revealed that he'd be wearing a black body suit, but until today that's all we had. Now, thanks to Mattel France, we know that he's got his very own Kryptonian chest logo, and here's what it looks like:
Another, more exaggerated Zod toy also reveals a bigger, badder version of the Kryptonian villain's wardrobe. Is this a cartoonish version of the armor we'll see on the big screen?
So now we know what Zod looks like all suited up (at least, in miniature form). All that's left is to see him face off with the Man of Tomorrow.
