Netflix has dropped a new teaser for The Defenders, finally revealing the premiere date for the new Marvel street-level superhero team-up series.

Titled “Midland Circle Security Elevator B,” the teaser shows Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Finn Jones) riding the elevator at the offices of Midland Circle (more on that below) until Jessica Jones hits the security camera at 08:18:20:17. Meaning Marvel's upcoming eight-episode miniseries will be available to binge-watch on Netflix on August 18 — so mark your calendars (the date has since been officially confirmed, as well).

The show also launched a new viral site that you can reach at this URL (it’s found on the upper left corner of the teaser): http://23.253.120.81

Back in March, a preview at Entertainment Weekly revealed a scene where our four heroes have a first meeting at the offices of Midland Circle, introduced in Daredevil Season 2. They find themselves trapped in a corridor and must fight their way through some bad guys. Yep, another hallway fight scene! This is going to be awesome, especially since each hero has a different fighting style. Showrunner Marco Ramirez said:

“Every one of them is following their own trail of bread crumbs, trying to unpack a mystery in New York. We wanted them all caught off guard. Once they’re in that room together, it’s kind of like, ‘Oh, s—, who are you?'”

Marvel’s The Defenders will also see the return of Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Scott Glenn as Stick, Elodie Yung as Elektra, Eka Darville as Malcolm, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Simone Missick as Misty Knight and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.

There are rumors that Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, may also appear, but nothing’s been officially confirmed. Sigourney Weaver will play the series’ villain, Alexandra. Take a look at the teaser and let us know if you're looking forward to the "Heroes of Hell's Kitchen" team-up series:
