Can't humans and aliens just get along?
The premiere of Syfy's ambitious new series (and tie-in video game) Defiance is less than a month a way, and the show's creator's are offering up more and more glimpses into the world they've crafted. Today we get a behind-the-scenes video that breaks down the tumultuous relationship between two of the most powerful families in Defiance: the alien Tarr family and the human McCawley family.
As you'll see in the video below, the patriarch of the Tarr family, Datak (Tony Curran), and the patriarch of the McCawley family, Rafe (Graham Greene), don't like each other very much, and it's not just because Datak's son is having a relationship with Rafe's daughter.

Set on a post-alien-invasion Earth, the series follows characters both human and alien trying to survive and protect their freedom. Other memebers of the cast include Grant Bowler (True Blood), Julie Benz (Dexter) and Jaime Murray (Warehouse 13).
The Defiance tie-in game is available for pre-order now and hits stores April 2. The show premieres April 15 at 9/8C on Syfy.
