The last time we saw Missy (Michelle Gomez) on Doctor Who was in the Season 9 episode “The Witch’s Familiar.” She was last spotted surrounded by some murderous Daleks out for Time Lord blood as Davos’ lair collapsed around them, with her exclaiming that she just had a very clever idea.
Since then, the Doctor’s (Peter Capaldi) archnemesis/former BFF has remained MIA, but it looks like Missy will return for Season 10 come 2017. We're skipping a year, if you guys will recall. We're only getting a Christmas special this year. [Insert Sad Face Here]
While Gomez was at MegaCon in Orlando over the weekend, the actress revealed that Missy would indeed be back for Season 10. If only we could time-travel to next year already!

This should come as no real surprise to the fans, since I’m pretty sure Steven Moffat will want to take another go at his version of the iconic Doctor Who villain, before he has to hand over the keys to the TARDIS to future showrunner Chris Chibnall (Torchwood, Broadchurch) for Season 11.
I for one will look forward to seeing her again since Gomez is always a joy to watch in the role. Oh, and we still have to find out what Missy's very clever idea was. So, yeah. And it'll be fun to see her interact with the Doctor's new companion, Bill (Pearl Mackie).
What about you? Are you looking forward to more Missy in Season 10 of Doctor Who? Any idea what her clever idea could be?
