Lennie James' Morgan Jones will be crossing over to Fear the Walking Dead during the show's Season 4 premiere April 15. As the first human survivor ever to be encountered by Rick Grimes, Morgan has a long and rich history on The Walking Dead, making him a prime candidate for a crossover.
Fear the Walking Dead will likely be experimenting with time, which means we don't quite know what part of Morgan's past we'll see, or how much of it. Will it be before his son Duane is killed by his zombified wife? Or after, when Morgan lost control of his sanity? If we had to guess, we'd probably say after, since Scott M. Gimple (producer on both shows) admitted that Jones' actions in Season 8 of The Walking Dead will tie directly into his passage over to Fear the Walking Dead.
Before Jones fulfills the expectations of this highly anticipated crossover, take a look at the exclusive clip below, which outlines Morgan James' journey to such an exciting event.
The official synopsis for Season 4 is as follows:
In season four of Fear the Walking Dead, we will see the world of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her family through new eyes — the eyes of Morgan Jones (Lennie James), joining the story from the world of The Walking Dead. The characters’ immediate past mixes with an uncertain present of struggle and discovery as they meet new friends, foes and threats. They fight for each other, against each other and against a legion of the dead to somehow build an existence against the crushing pressure of lives coming apart.
Fear the Walking Dead returns to AMC April 15 with the episode "What's Your Story?" In a special event held by AMC and Fathom Events on the 15th, you can watch the Season 8 finale of The Walking Dead and Season 4 premiere of Fear the Walking Dead on the big screen.
