New international IT footage delivers paralyzing dose of Pennywise

With Sony's loose adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower crashing into multiplexes this weekend, it's time to set our sights on another project inspired by the Master of Horror: Andy Muschietti's Stephen King's IT.

Each of the preceding trailers has gently massaged our most latent fears with precision attacks on subconscious dread using unsettling music, stylish imagery, and savage horror. The R-rated remake seems perfectly timed to targeted demographics, stabbing straight into the heart of audiences who grew up with the Tommy Lee Wallace mini-series from 1990 still twitching in their nervous systems.

A new Latin American TV spot for Stephen King's IT has just dropped, unveiling a disturbing dose of new Pennywise footage and dialogue as the ancient, shape-shifting, cannibalistic entity from the Macroverse seduces a member of the Losers Club in Derry. Bill Skarsgard is in ferocious form in this latest promo, and I'm anxious to see more of his stellar performance.

Have a look and let us know if you'll leave the lights on later tonight.
