When Stranger Things returns to Netlix on Halloween, a year will have passed after the kids defeated the Demogorgon (with Eleven disappearing in the process) and Will came back from the Upside Down. So what's coming up for show's sophomore year?

So far, plot details for Season 2 have been few and far between (plus that awesome Super Bowl teaser raised even more questions!), but a new article over at Entertainment Weekly -- which includes a very cool pic of the kids in their Ghostbusters Halloween costumes -- sheds a bit more light as to what to expect when Stranger Things returns.

In regard to what's going on with Will Byers (Noah Schnapp), co-creator Matt Duffer said:

"He seems to be seeing images from the Upside Down — the question is whether they're real or not. So it seems like he's having some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder."

What we also know is that Will and Jonathan's (Charlie Heaton) mother Joyce (Winona Ryder) will begin dating an old high-school classmate named Bob (played by Sean Astin), but he won't be the only new character to set foot in the town of Hawkins, Indiana ...

Season 2 will also see the arrival of brother-sister duo Billy and Max (Dacre Montgomery and Sadie Sink), as well as Dr. Owens (Paul Reiser), who'll be running the lab. While Max will become pals with the boys and be a bit of a love interest for Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), let’s just say Billy will be anything but friendly ... as in he may be this season's human villain. Here's what Matt Duffer told EW:

"Stephen King always has really great human villains. The evil in the real world is often as bad or worse than the supernatural evil, so we wanted to introduce a character like that."

Other Season 2 tidbits include the revelation that the rift to the Upside Down is still open and that Dustin will have a pet monster! "It's a little creature I get to bond with," says Matarazzo. "It's obviously not from this planet or this dimension."

Bring. Everything. On.
