We already alerted you to the notion that director Nicolaj Arcel's The Dark Tower would have a full load of geeky references and connections to several Stephen King intellectual properties in its loose adaptation of the prophetic Dark Tower tales.

Now a new Sony Pictures promo homes in on this specific carton of fresh easter eggs that runs the white-shelled spectrum from The Shining, 1408, Children of the Corn, and Cujo to The Shawshank Redemption, Stand By Me, Misery, Christine, and more.

Load up on the synopsis once more before the tower topples on August 4, then see how many King eggs you can gather in this latest 30-second preview:

"The last Gunslinger, Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), has been locked in an eternal battle with Walter O’Dim, also known as the Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey), determined to prevent him from toppling the Dark Tower, which holds the universe together. With the fate of the worlds at stake, good and evil will collide in the ultimate battle."
