Sony has released a new poster for The Amazing Spider-Man, and it's cloaked in mystery. The tagline teases an "untold story," which makes us wonder—are there drastic changes ahead?
The latest poster for The Amazing Spider-Man features Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) scaling a wall and casting a familiar shadow. The Spider-Man logo takes center stage as an extension of his strategically placed body, but Parker's face remains hidden. What's he up to? And more importantly, who is he hiding from?
In terms of story, we already know Peter's parents will get some screen time, Mary Jane has been swapped for Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), and the Lizard (Rhys Ifans) is the primary villain. What other tricks does director Marc Webb have up his sleeve? We're interested in this revised story.
The Amazing Spider-Man also stars Denis Leary as George Stacy, Campbell Scott as Richard Parker, and Martin Sheen and Sally Field as Uncle Ben and Aunt May. The film opens in theaters everywhere July 3.
