We may have until April to wait for the second half of Doctor Who's seventh series, but that just means the BBC (and Steven Moffat, likely) will have months' worth of opportunities to sneak glimpses of new Who footage wherever we look. The latest BBC promo, for example ...
This is a case of blink-and-you'll-miss-it viewing, but play close attention and you'll get two quick snippets. One is right toward the beginning, and the other is at the tail end. Have a look:
In both brief clips, the Doctor puts his hands on Clara's face and, in the second, he even goes so far as to kiss her on the forehead. Now, granted, there was some similar affection between the Doctor and Amy. Then again, Amy seemed awfully keen to participate in some sexual extracurriculars with the Doctor despite her pending nuptials. Now the shoe is on the other foot and it's the Doctor who is already married.
What do you make of these new clips? Is this just another Doctor/Companion friendship, or do the Doctor and River maybe have more of an open marriage?
