The Twilight Saga: New Moon dropped out of the top slot at the box office in its third weekend of release—overtaken by the surprising hit The Blind Side, also in its third weekend of release—but nevertheless took in enough to raise its total so far to a whopping $255.6 million domestically, according to the Associated Press.

Yikes! That's a lot of Twi-hards.
The weekend's other vampire movie—no, we didn't know it was out either—was Transylmania, which took in just $274,000 in 1,007 theaters for a dismal average of $272. The movie is a campus-horror spoof about students studying at a Transylvania college overrun by vampires.
