It's official: Nintendo is making a SNES Classic console, and here are the games that'll be included.

After blowing up the retro gaming market with the NES Classic (then blowing up the reseller market after under-producing them and subsequently stopping production), the video game publisher has confirmed a mini-console modeled after the seminal SNES, which played host to some of the greatest games in Nintendo history. The console will hit shelves on September 29 and retail for $79.99. It will include 21 games, which hits a whole lot of the highlights fans are expecting (though 21 games does leave a whole lot of classics off the list).

Regardless, there's still a lot to love. Highlights include Earthbound, F-ZERO, Star Fox, A Link to the Past and a boatload of Mario games (duh). With the second Classic console, here's hoping Nintendo fixes a few of the issues with the NES version (namely those crazy short controller cords).
