Game of Thrones,

Objects in Space 8/28: The morning after

Contributed by

It's the day after the Game of Thrones finale, and I don't know about you but I'm actually thinking a lot more about the episode of Twin Peaks that aired just before it. Forget dragons and awkward incest; let's celebrate the fact that Dale Cooper is himself again! It certainly took long enough, didn't it?

Yours truly might be feeling a little under the weather, but it's not going to stop me from grabbing up those links to send your way:

- Here's a great list I’m hoping to check off sooner rather than later, as I've yet to watch a lot of these: 20 of the best LGBTQ films of the 21st century. (Indiewire)

- This season, Game of Thrones handled its sparser sex scenes with marked tenderness - a significant shift from previous years. (Vulture)

- It's the late Jack Kirby's birthday today, so here's an oldie-but-goodie about his (not so) subtle legacy in comics. (Nerdist)

- You need to read this fascinating piece about the uptick of prosthetic limbs in sci-fi films. (Bitch Media)
