How was your Labor Day weekend, cats and kittens? I have been slowly but surely venturing back onto the Internet after primarily spending my free time alternating between writing, catching up on TV and napping. It can be a little daunting, especially because the Internet is dark and full of bad takes.

Here are some good links, though:

- Game developer Zoe Quinn discusses her new book, Crash Override, as well as her experience navigating the Internet amidst online mobs and harassment. (The Verge)

- You'll want to read this beautiful piece after you've finished the Twin Peaks finale. (Vulture)

- Reese Witherspoon discusses the genre that's in need of a makeover: the romantic comedy. (NY Times)

- The Magicians calls to mind many things, but one among them is how it uses magic to create a realistic depiction of sexual assault. (Reel Honey)

You can send us suggestions for stuff to include in future round-ups at any time, either in the comments below or via our Twitter feed at @Syfyfangrrls.
