Fox has released another teaser trailer for the new season of Fringe. Just like its predecessors, it focuses on one big question: "Where is Peter Bishop?" It also reveals that his lady love Olivia knows that something funky is going on.
Last season, poor Peter was [spoiler ahead!] wiped off the face of the earth. Not only was he physically removed, but his memory and any impact he made on others was blanked out. This fall, Fringe will focus on what life would be like without Peter ... and for the rest of the characters, it's pretty freaking boring.
In the new promo, it shows Olivia talking to a mystery person about an emptiness in her life. She claims that it's always been there, and she can't explain why.
"We all get really good at pretending that the loneliness isn't there, and then something comes along to remind us," she says. "I know what it's like to have a hole in my life. It's been there as long as I can remember."
Hmm, we wonder if everyone will suffer from this lack-of-Peter-itis? Surely, if Olivia feels that something's off, Walter's Spidey sense will be going haywire. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until next month, when season four premieres, to find out.
New episodes of Fringe begin Sept. 23.
