Looks like it's official! Peter Davison has confirmed that he will appear in Doctor Who’s 50th-anniversary special.
Just yesterday, rumors were swirling about that former Fifth Doctor Peter Davison may put in an appearance in Doctor Who’s big Five-0 special episode “The Day of the Doctor” when he let slip that he had a copy of the script with his name printed on it.
Today, the 62-year-old actor has confirmed that he was indeed involved in the 75-minute special episode and that he was looking forward to seeing it play out. However, Davison remained tight-lipped about the details of the role he’ll play in the special.
Davison told BANG Showbiz:
"I'm making an appearance somewhere over that period of time but I can't reveal in what.
"I can't reveal anything specific about it. I'm not allowed to.
"It is a big year for the show and we're all doing our bit for it. Trust me."
