It's the moment we've all been waiting for. Peter Bishop is officially back on Fringe. Before the show took a break for the World Series, it concluded its final episode with Peter coming face to face with Olivia. Can you say cliffhanger? How will she react? What will Walter say? Where the heck has he been? Here's your first look at his anticipated return.
Peter won't be receiving a hero's welcome this week. The character's been off the radar for months, and was wiped from the memory of everyone he loves. On the latest episode of Fringe, entitled "Novation," Peter has a lot of explaining to do. No one trusts him, and his inside knowledge of the Fringe Division has everyone on edge.
We all knew Peter's return wouldn't be an instant love-fest. That's just not how this show works. In the current world, Peter died as a child. That's something everyone is aware of, especially Walter. When Peter comes on the scene claiming to be his long-lost son, it doesn't go over easy. According to John Noble, "Walter can't accept it." He can't believe that this strange man is the grown child he's spent years mourning.

Fringe returns Oct. 28 (crosses fingers) at 9 p.m. on Fox.
