This fall, get ready for Harry Potter like you've never seen him before.
There's been plenty of buzz surrounding Horns, the adaptation of Joe Hill's acclaimed novel by The Hills Have Eyes director Alexandre Aja, for months now, even though for a long time we had very little of the film to see for ourselves. It's the first of Hill's novels (which also include Heart-Shaped Box and N0S4A2) to get the film treatment, and it's an ambitious role for Radcliffe, who's already showed off his horror chops in the Hammer production The Woman in Black. Earlier this month, we got a haunting teaser for the film, and now the filmmakers have rolled out a full two-minute trailer -- packed with fire, snakes and sin -- for the flick as part of its Comic-Con panel.
Radcliffe stars as Ignatius "Ig" Perrish, a young man falsely accused of the rape and murder of his girlfriend Merrin (Juno Temple). Ig had a promising life ahead of him when Merrin was alive, but being villified by the whole town for a crime he didn't commit sent him into a tailspin. After a drunken night out, he wakes up one morning to find the titular horns growing out of either side of his forehead. At first, all he wants is to find out what's wrong with him, but then Ig discovers the horns have given him the power to make people reveal their darkest secrets and embrace their darkest impulses. From there, things get pretty weird.
Check out the trailer, which seems full of all the frantic energy and fury of Hill's novel, below.
Horns arrives in theaters this Halloween, and also stars Max Minghella, Joe Anderson, James Remar and more.
