We know Loki will be one of the villains in the upcoming Thor movie, but Marvel is keeping everyone guessing about another secret bad guy who's been shrouded in mystery.
And by shrouded we mean that Marvel hasn't even been sending out scripts to the actors, so they really don't want you to know who this character is going to be.
But courtesy of some casting news in The Hollywood Reporter we at least know who will play this ultra-secret baddy: Colm Feore, who you've seen as Henry Taylor in 24 and also as the bad guy in The Chronicles of Riddick. Hopefully that means news about Feore's character will leak soon.
In the meantime Jaimie Alexander from Kyle XY has also signed onto the film, which is being directed by Kenneth Branagh. A lot of the main cast was announced earlier, including Chris "Kirk's Dad" Hemsworth as Thor (nice choice there), Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Natalie Portman as Thor's human girlfriend, Jane Foster. Also from The Hollywood Reporter:
In Marvel's epic fantasy, Alexander is playing Sif, a skilled Asgardian warrior who can hold her own against any man. She also is one of Thor's loves.
The movie's story centers on Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions re-ignite an ancient war. As punishment, Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans. Once here, he learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends dark forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
