Does another Predator movie sound good to you?

If it does, then we may be in luck. (But for the moment: grain of salt.)

There’s a new infrared image that was recently posted on the Predators official Facebook page, teasing that a forthcoming project could be in the works. Question is: is it a brand-new film, or something else entirely?

Keen eyes over at Comic Book Movie have suggested that the image—which has a well-known quote from the first movie, which starred former Governator Ahnold—is actually an overhead shot of Petco Park near the San Diego Convention Center.

Have a look:

So is that proof that an announcement could be forthcoming during this week’s Comic-Con? Maybe.

Predators—the last entry into the franchise, which starred a surprisingly buff Adrien Brody—made $120 million worldwide on a $40 million budget. Its producer, Robert Rodriguez, has always said that a sequel was in the works. But so far nothing. Niet. Nada.

Guess we’ll have to wait for Fox’s Hall H Panel on Saturday to find out.

Do you guys believe that a new Predator movie could actually be in the works? Do you even want to see a new entry into franchise?
