A purported list of song titles from the Justice League soundtrack might have just spilled a surprise plot point. Potential spoilers ahead, so stop reading here if you don't want to know any more.

Okay here we go ...
Remember, this is nowhere near confirmed and needs to be kept solidly in the "rumor" file. According a report that surfaced Wednesday (August 23) at Screenrant, a post on a Reddit page dedicated to the band Imagine Dragons contained a screenshot from IMDb (since deleted) that listed what appeared to be the contents of the Justice League soundtrack.
One of the tracks, which is performed by Imagine Dragons, is called "Unite the Seven" -- a curious title, given that there are only five official members of the League in the film: Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), the Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).
It's one of the worst-kept secrets in the business that the supposedly dead Superman (Henry Cavill) will make his return in the film as well, but that's still only six. If that's a real song title from the movie -- and again, we don't know that for sure -- then who is the seventh member of the League?
The betting money would say Green Lantern. Warner Bros. has officially announced that there will be a Green Lantern Corps movie, although no director, stars, or release date have been unveiled yet. But that doesn't mean the studio hasn't been working quietly on all of that and plans to surprise Justice League audiences with the introduction of either Hal Jordan or John Stewart (or both!) this November.
From a story standpoint, the inclusion of at least one Lantern would make sense because the threat in Justice League is coming from Steppenwolf, an army of parademons and ultimately Darkseid -- all of which come from beyond Earth. In fact, we could envision a scenario where the League defeats Steppenwolf by the end of the movie only for Green Lantern to show up and warn that Darkseid is on the way, setting up the sequel.
A few other morsels to consider: There is a mention of "Lanterns" in the most recent Justice League trailer, and let's not forget that poster of Aquaman that came out a couple of years ago and was never properly explained:
The studio is staying quiet on all this for now (we've also reached out for comment), but a surprise revelation of a new Green Lantern would certainly add some excitement to a movie that is already under the microscope. What do you make of "Unite the Seven"?
