There's a new extended Captain America: The First Avenger TV spot making the rounds out there that may have revealed the possible death of an important character. Major spoilers ahead!
This new, low-quality TV spot reveals a few snippets of previously unseen and exciting footage, including a new look at the attack on a HYDRA train (which looks pretty darn cool, by the way) and a lot of actiony stuff.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOLLOW.
But if you keep your eyes peeled, you'll also see what could be the possible demise of James "Bucky" Barnes (Sebastian Stan): We see him apparently fall to his death, but the scene cuts to Cappy's (Chris Evans) face right before we actually see Bucky plummet down the icy chasm below.
If you've read the Captain America comics and are familiar with the story, you'll probably be jumping up and down in front of your computer screens right about now, 'cause you'll have an idea what this scene could signify: *cough* Winter Soldier *cough*
That's all we're willing to say.
And for those who haven't read the comics and aren't familiar with the story, you can still be spoiled by reading about Bucky's life and ultimate fate here, or not.
What do YOU think?
Captain America: The First Avenger arrives in theatres next week, on July 22.
