Stan "The Man" Lee, the boundless dynamo who made the trademark exaltation "Excelsior!" a Marvel battle cry for comic book lovers worldwide, turned 94 years old on Dec. 28. To help mark the momentous occasion and to reflect back on his 75 sunrises working for Marvel Comics, Lee filmed this Marvel Entertainment video commemorating his eighth decade in the funny book business.
Here, the jubilant creator or co-creator of such iconic characters as Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Avengers, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Nick Fury, Fantastic Four, Doctor Doom and hundreds more gets nostalgic about the early days of Marvel and reveals how his childhood fascination with a Walt Disney art book has now come full circle with Marvel now a part of the global Disney family.
Have a look and give a little much-deserved love and respect to this living legend.
